Bringing back the capital gains tax on real estate would go far in paying for the federal budget deficit resulting from the many US military operations around the world. There is a great deal of justice in this concept as these constant operations in theory protect the property which would be taxed.

It might be better to simply eliminate the expenses of playing policeman to the world. But most support our role as empire, they just want someone else to pay the costs.
Perhaps we should just charge it all to our national credit card, as some suggest.
