Brad,

Maybe I created some confusion earlier regarding cost and pricing of doses. Let's see if I have this straight. The ESTIMATED numbers are:

1. Manufacturing cost (~cost of goods) $1-2 per dose

2. Wholesale price (how much the gross revenue per dose would be to the company) $4-5 per dose

3. "Retail" cost to patient/insurance company (includes paying the health professional) $10-12 per dose

Thus, in estimating gross revenues for the vaccine company (AVIR or any other) we would multiply the $4-5 figure by the number of doses given out per year -- assuming no significant savings arising from the nasal vs. injected delivery.
