Oh I completely understand what 'value add' is, and what your defining as 'value add' was, make absolutely no mistake about that. My request evidently was to steep.

Was your money manager (or broker, I forget) able to help you determine if you ever bought that deflated growth stock we talked about before (and if so, how much of a loss was realized or not etc.)? They really should have that information available to you upon request.
