well- irrespective of all this I'd like to know where this administration stands on schedule C sole proprietors in general. A few years ago some legislation went into play that essentially blocked many computer consultants who were previously operating as sole proprietors. Apparently somebody somewhere said taxes weren't being paid and within a year all companies in the bay area that used to hire schedule C's were forcing these people to become employees of some agency or incorporate. This is NOT what we want from the government, we want to encourage entrepreneurialism not sabotage it. I would rather see a repeal of whatever law this was vs. some tax advantage for an SUV. The SUV seems like pork going to the oil industry anyway.
