len,

"By the use of "teenager" you load the emotions. Most soldiers are "teenagers"."

There is a big difference between a soldier and a suicide bomber. It is the purpose of soldiers to fight other soldiers in the conflicts of nations. It is understood that a soldier may die in combat. It is not understood that a soldier must die and target non-combatants in the doing.

It's not surprising that the vast majority of suicide bombers are teenagers. Teenagers are the easiest to manipulate. Certain things about teenagers are universal. Their desire to be part of a group, to be socially accepted, and to prove oneself in rites of manhood. So, they join groups, take stupid dares and will often do things to ingratiate themselves to their peers.

In the hands of a trained manipulator a teenager looking for purpose in his life can easily be subverted for dark purposes.
