We all have our myths...don't we?

What was it that propelled the "Jewish" underground to travel to Palestine and begin a campaign of terror, where oftentimes, it resulted in death or hanging?

"During WWII the Japanese would charge into heavy machine gun fire with cries of 'bonzai!'. They all died making a useless gesture."

They did not know that at the time or whether it work longer term.

I get a chuckle from Patton's quote every time I hear it...ranks up there with, "Save the Earth, Commit Suicide"
