OT - >> No lucky breaks thus far AD, it looks tough for a short position. I think the earliest scheduled bad news is for Thursday, with the unemployment claims report. The worst part is that earnings warnings and disappointments are at least a month away. NASDAQ could be 1700 by then. A nice level from which to fall. But then it might just continue on to 1800. Shouldn't AMAT have issued a shortfall warning by now ? Maybe they had set expectations so low that they didn't need to. I think they've set the bar at break-even for this Q. Sarmad
