A person such as yourself, who apparently exercises vigorously at least 4 times a week really could eat nearly anything EXCEPT flour and sugar. You probably could have 60 grams a day of carbs and not gain weight.

Darn it, I was afraid of that........flour and sugar are my two most favorite foods. They are one of the reasons why I have to exercise so much.;) I have heard that one gets accustomed to going without so maybe I will give it a try if the book happens to slap me in the face next time I go into Barnes and Noble.

You must have grown up living along the coast. I bet you had a good time. jdn

Yes, I did grow up on the coast, and I had a blast.......still am.

Is growing up on the coast more fun than growing up in the midwest?
