Doug- Probably the best way to get a handle on these questions is to go to the following web site: cdg.org for the CDMA Development Group. Look at the map. Also keep in mind that the next generation standard will be CDMA based. If this happened the growth rate for CDMAOne (Qualcomm's version) is very large. "MOT ramp-up on R&D." I'm not sure what you are referring to - Phones? Infrastructure? Both? If there R&D on the phones is so great let's see a working CDMA model. They still haven't released one.
