Where do you people live? A "Great Depression" on it's way in the USA? Get real. Come and visit any major city in this country and tell me we are going to see a great depression. You people seem to be clueless. Odds are that we will have strong recessionary influences for the next few quarters but this is very normal after a war. Times are tough, there is no doubt about this. However, to envision a scenario which would cause the USA to find itself in a great depression at any time over the next couple of years is bordering on lunacy. Come down from your ivory towers, take a break and step away from your computers and join the real world. Go to any major city in the world, for that matter, and tell me we are approaching a great depression. While business has slowed down from the excesses seen during the last part of the 90s, the world is moving forward and progress is being made.

Great depression!?! Give me a break. Talk about doom and gloom to the extreme....sheesh. You might want to triple the unemployment figures first before you talk depression. Try 18% unemployment instead of only 6%!!!

Just my opinion.
