Isn't this a strawman...or a no-win for the US? The UN Resolutions, all 17 of them, were to cause Saddam to verify that Iraq had NO WMD, and to certify they had been destroyed.

Saddam signed the paper that he understood the Resolution/s.

There was NO certification that any of their WMD had been destroyed.

Is there a shelf life on chemicals or things like smallpox, or plague, and all the etc's.....

Hmm, well if it turns out they find stuff everyone knew about before 98 and that, in any case, it was in no shape to be used, then I wouldn't consider that "serious" wmd.
