Van, The specs as shown on the Compaq site are not identical to the JTS 2.1 GB drive (e.g. rotation speed 4200 rpm, vs JTS' 4103 rpm). Height is very close 12.7 mm vs 12.5 mm. It may be a special version of the JTS drive or it may be someone else's 3" drive. I would think that JTS would announce volume shipments to Compaq when they start taking place. Dan H.
