The irony of Christianity is , that no sooner had the message of Jesus passed from his lips long ago even his closest followers , was it transformed for all centuries to follow into just another doctrine of Holy War , Jhiad and violent crusade. Perhaps one of the most "living" and closest examples today of the teachings of Jesus and that mythos of peace & purity in action could only be found over in India in a sect known as the Jains which dates back some 3000yrs , or in the strictest of monastaries .
