I watched a fair bit of the ABC Democratic candidates debate from last Saturday. I was appalled at the leading questions that the scoundrel George Stephanopoulos used to bait the various candidates. Instead of a policy debate, he vulgarly tried to reduce the debate to back-and-forth ad hominem attacks among the candidates.

I could swear Stephanopoulos is a Republican hatchet man in sheep's clothing. He did not seem at all interested in leading the discussion into any of the dirt on the Bushistas that we regularly discuss among ourselves.

It was like a repeat of the effort by the Bushies to fund and arm both sides of the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980's. An attempt to weaken all enemies of King George.
