TELFORD, PENNSYLVANIA, May 6, 2003 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- Environmental
Solutions Worldwide, Inc. (ESW) (OTCBB: ESWW), is proud to announce that it has
become the first Company to receive a technology verification certification from
Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Canada Inc for a Diesel Oxidation
Catalyst (DOC) converter. ESW's proprietary High Performance DOC achieved a
reduction of Particulate (PM-10) of 66.7% by weighted average.

There are currently in excess of five million diesel utility engines below
50hp/37kW in use across North America alone. For example, these types of diesel
engines power construction equipment, small generators and refrigerated
transport trailer/rail cars. This is the market that the application scaleable
Quiet Cat(TM) diesel catalyst/muffler is designed for.

ESW has been working with ETV Canada to have its Quiet Cat(TM) utility engine
high performance catalyst/muffler's Particulate reduction verified within the
ETV program. The verification process involved a full emission data review on
behalf of ETV Canada by a third party emission lab.

Mr. Chris Shrive, P.Ag. General manager and Development Director, ETV Canada
remarked "ETV Canada is pleased to have ESW join our roster of environmental
technology performance verification graduates as a proven contributor to
improved environmental quality, and in particular, have the first DOC technology
to receive performance verification in the emissions reduction sector of the ETV
Canada program. ESW's verification was one of the more expedient to go through
the program, due in part to the thoroughness of the ESW submission, but also due
to the knowledge and capability of ETV's selected verification entity, Bodycote
Materials Testing Canada, in their independent application of ETV's verification
protocol."

Mr. John Donohoe, ESW's CEO, President and Chairman commented, "Our management
team is extremely pleased with ESW becoming the first diesel emission control
manufacturer to become verified through the ETV Canada program. The confirmed
Particulate (PM-10) emission reduction of 66.7% by weighted average, which is
documented within this program, further validates the ESW DOC technology that
has applications for both above and below 50hp/37kW. Our proprietary metallic
substrate DOC continues to achieve Particulate reductions that we believe are
unreachable by conventional ceramic or foil substrate DOC technology. Quiet
Cat(TM) diesel utility engine catalyst/muffler systems continue to deliver
needed performance to a sector of the market that is under EPA(a)/CARB scrutiny
and regulations in North America, and by many other governments around the
world. This is another milestone in the Company's catalyst program as we
continue to progress through the full CARB heavy duty on-road diesel retrofit
verification program as a level 2 device."

About ETV Canada Inc

Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) is an Environment Canada Program
providing validation and independent verification of environmental technology
performance claims. ETV Canada was established in 1997 to promote the
commercialization and performance credibility of new environmental technologies
into the market place and thus provide industry with a tool to address
environmental challenges efficiently, effectively and economically. In June
1999, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the reciprocity of programs for the
verification of environmental technologies was signed between Environment Canada
and the California EPA. A similar reciprocity agreement is in place with New
Jersey, and Canada and the U.S. EPA have a cooperative agreement in place to
examine the harmonization of verification initiatives. ETV Canada operates as a
component of the Ontario Centre for Environmental Technology Advancement (OCETA)
