I know you don't believe in TA/charts voodoo, but the charts
seem to say we have one spike upwards left above the December high in the SPX maybe tomorrow after everyone gets bullish on Johnny Chambers results. The VIX is still around 23 and this could spike it lower to about 19-20 area and everyone gets on board the next BULL market. Then we can have the sell off.
