DAK, I am glad you jumped in. I supppose I should have been more precise. I had my particular strategy in mind which is to keep big cap golds and NG or O&G stocks and write covered calls on PART of the positions. Trading options only will get you different results and of course different approaches would be warranted. In the end , you need to be right on your trades , whether you buy or sell options and tomorrow`s WS journal would come in handy to give you an edge <g> I am fairly new at the game, three years and still wading at about ankle deep ... and can use all the help I can get. step1
