I remember Ralph Nader telling all of his Green disciples that it made no difference if George Bush or Al Gore were elected--both parties are the same. I cannot help but wonder if all those Greens who in essence helped George Bush become president still feel that there is no difference between him and Al Gore, the world's greenest democrat.

And yes I know that people who voted green were making a statement about their beliefs. My point is that if Nader had not run, it is not very likely that Greens would have voted for George Bush. So had their votes been cast for Gore, it's likely Bush would not have been appointed president by the courts. In fact, it is likely the election wouldn't have ended up in the courts. --Coz
