Anyone else find this sort of thing annoying?

"EMC CEO Joe Tucci in January received 75,000 options to buy EMC stock at an exercise price of 1 cent per share. Critics argue such awards have no downside for executives."

Right now that's about a 960 bagger. What exactly is he doing to justify what amounts to a $75+ MILLION bonus? In the last two years the stock price has dropped from 40 to 10. Even if the stock drops to $1 he's still got a 100 bagger. Imagine what they would have done if the stock price had remained below 5. They'd probably have granted him a 1,000,000 of those options for a job "well done".

This crap has got to stop. I'm out of this stock simply because I think that awards like this have no basis in reality and any board or directors that grants awards of this unconscionable nature does not have the best interests of the shareholders in mind.
