chinu,

"Firstof I would think you would be smart enough to at least figure out that I was living in the US and even from my handle (email name) figure out which area of the US."

Oh give me a break!

Anybody on this planet earth can get a @hotmail email address and Silicon Investor allows you to use any moniker you want. I can change my alias to FrenchChef, but that doesn't make me Julia Childs.

Furthermore, the term 'duke it out' can not possibly be construed as meaning that both sides are going to put on boxing gloves and have a gentleman's fight. Your attempting to mitigate and redefine your dismal your faux paux.

The British are positioned to take a lead role? Why? How?

Again, I'm not necessarily opposed to this if both sides want it that way, but why are you advocating this position? Did you check with Yassir Arafat first to get his take on this? Shouldn't the Palestinians and the Israelis mutually decide on this before you register your disapproval?

The fact is that the US has some leverage on both of this conflict. The U.S. gives aid to both sides and are in a better position to guarantee treaty provisions if necessary.

I really don't give a sh*t what the world thinks of us. What matters first and foremost is who can do the job. You want to give me a convincing argument that someone else can do it better I'm all ears.
