Nice warning. Some currency charts Euro/Dollar trends: pacific.commerce.ubc.ca There you can also find gold price in Rand. Gold has been falling in Rand since September 2002 - from 3500 to 2400. That's a 31% fall, a lot more than what gold got since February in USD (down only 13% from early February high) Edit: MAke it December 2001 - 3750 high, down 36%. Practically, all the rally in September 2001 due to Rand weakness is gone.
