the reason Google was mentioned here, is because it is a "hot" potential IPO, and for the options expensing model to work, we need a way to represent options that works for IPOs like Google too.

My personal view is that tacking on billions in "expenses" to every IPO just to say we are expensing options won't work. It devalues virtually every startup especially the good ones, and Google is a good one.

The reason this issue came up here is because options expensing was being rehashed.
