I guess the deal is we've reached a near term top for now. The war/end of war rally may be over.

But at the same time, a permabear stance is nuts these days, just as the permabull stance was nuts in March 2000. I really doubt the armageddon views some darth vader types on SI love to spout will come to pass.

Sure is great for comic relief, though.
