suttree, <<Russian minister stresses need for expansion of Iran-Russia ties>>

... Don't worry about it, because according to Iran, their nuke program is for electricity generation, given that they are running out of oil; according to CB, long missing from this thread, Russia is a friend of Condi Rice or something in that line of thought; and according to Bush, business can be done based on a meeting of the eyes ;0)

And I wonder aloud, whatever happened to the idea that Russia and the US will jointly develop the very expensive but technically unworkable, and strategically inadvisable NMD?

Could it be that N.Korea has already achieved nuke parity with China, France and Britain, and is targeting equality with the US on the prerogative to use in first and pre-emptive strike?

How can it be that India is having second thoughts about becoming a spoke in the US-Israel-India wheel-of-the-incompatible, and instead is making nice with Pakistan and China, so that it can focus on what we cannot imagine?

Should we support the world’s largest democracy or the world’s most powerful election system?

Time sure flies so quickly when one is watching it fly, along the temporal axis towards TeoTwawKi, as progression of Collapse takes unforgiving hold, bringing us inexorably to TPonRr.

Life is surely a lot more complicated than we imagine it to be, and holds so much more possibilities.

As noted many times, I lack imagination … but not words :0)

Here is a bit of imagination and some words, of caution:

What is the financing requirement to deal with economic stagnation, financial collapse, debt implosion, monetary inflation, currency devaluation, new-age depression, exploding home values, sealed-off homeland, nuke-exporting N.Korea, going-off-on-its-own Japan (with its wallet), nuke-importing Iran, a few hundred million unhappy Moslems, and a few dozen million of babyboomers not able to retire the Florida dream?

I am guessing the upcoming election cycle will see some politicians decked out in military uniforms shaking their fists in the air, in Florida and Cuba, but not in France, nor Germany.

I am so confused;0) But, in the meantime, do the obvious trades and make the sure bets, hoard gold, value Canada, buy natural gas :0)

Chugs, Jay
