You sound like a guy trying to ease your conscience..... Saddam was an evil cruel dictator but he is not the only one in this world... How did he get chosen for pre-emptive strike...answer: he was supposed to have massive stores of WMD's including a nuke program....part of the nuke evidence was a forged document of amateur quality. No credible evidence for other weapons was supplied before the war and none has been found since. He was also supposed to have links to Al-Qaida such that more than 50% of the public thinks that Saddam was responsible for 9/11. Bush knows this, but hasn't corrected that impression, this makes him a liar. Powell said we knew they had WMD's but couldn't provide the locations for the inspectors, now we can't find them ourselves. And BTW, our top general said there were 2,000 to 3,000 sites to investigate not 300. But I've heard the 300 number also so is this one more bit of disinformation from the administration..? I have no doubt we will find WMD's, but solid evidence will be required to convince the world of their validity.... It's obvious you RWer's are getting very nervous by the panting notes you write when the latest discovery is announced.
