A 30% decline is anything BUT purposeful. Maybe a 10-15% I can see. I'll even give you a 20%. But the dollar nose dive is indicating something else is at play. Especially considering the fact that the U.S. policy has continued to be one of "strong dollar". After a 30% decline, it's anything BUT that and is indicating huge structural problems. Especially considering that for the last 10-15% decline the G7 even tried to intervene with absolutely no success.
