07:49 ET Goldman Sachs IT survey suggests pain isn't over : Goldman Sachs says that their mid-April IT spending survey indicates another leg down in 2003 IT spending intentions, with the avg declining from +1.0% to -3.2%; firm had expected to at least see further signs of stabilization following the war, but instead sees a downward move of more than 400 basis points, the largest single move ever in their survey series. Top share gainers include DELL and IBM in hardware, EMC and IBM in storage, and VRTS, MSFT, and IBM in software.
