I don't think you'll get much sympathy for Silly-con valley rip-de-do-da companies and their elite rip off artist management.

I'm not looking for sympathy though. I am a fairly new intel shareholder, although I have been with Cisco for a long time and am constantly reading about this issue of financials on the boards. The problem is a lot of the complainers don't own a single share of Cisco stock. I'm sure that applies to Intel also, or most any tech company now. You have to option to vote with your feet if you don't like intel management for whatever reason. You can vote another team in there if you want.

I'm not quite sure about intel yet but I know for Cisco that most of the complainers really really want management (and staff) to stay as is, they just want them to get paid less. That is the problem isn't it- shareholders don't have line item veto really. You can't make Chambers or whoever work for whatever you want them to.

My personal view is that people like yourself might be better off avoiding tech companies as investment vehicles, sounds like the risks involved for tech just aren't for you. Why not just move on? It would be better if most of these companies were owned by instititions, and some individuals who know the industry... thats just mo, though.
