From the article: "As the international community presses for progress on the road map, a New Jersey congressman is calling for Congressional hearings on the issue of Jews from Arab countries.

In a floor speech on Wednesday evening at a session of the House of Representatives, Rep. Frank Pallone, a Democrat, urged his colleagues to recognize that close to a million Jews fled Arab lands following Israel's establishment, and that this population has never seen justice.

"It is critical that future peace negotiations and discussions, specifically on the rights of refugees, address both sides of the issue, Arab and Jewish," Pallone said, noting that members of Congress and the general public are much better versed in the Palestinian refugee problem."
