Takenaka: Need to mull stock supply/demand steps 5/8/2003 8:13:00 PM TOKYO, May 9 (Reuters) - Japanese Economics and Financial Services Minister Heizo Takenaka said on Friday that it was important for the government to consider measures to stabilise the supply/demand balance in the stock market. "There is not much institutional investor buying, but a lot of selling, and this is upsetting the supply/demand balance in the market," he told reporters after a cabinet meeting. "It is important to consider measures to restore the balance."
