LOL, those sentiment indicators sure worked! The much heralded Joe Granville said: 'The Dow will never go through 1000!' I believe it was Jan of '81. Mkt promptly sold off a % or two. My first few days on the trading desk of the hedge fund I started with.

Of course you had to accumulate slowly for years unless lucky.
