OT: I cried when I saw an ad in the latest Architectural Digest.
Historic (1790) 2 1/2 story 3 bedroom home in rural Virginia, 146 acres, a lake, two streams, pool, one-room schoolhouse made into an office. $599,000.
I can get that here in San Diego for the same price.
Minus the lake, the streams, 145 7/8 acres, the pool, the one-room schoolhouse, and half of the house.
Real estate agents here will tell you privately that they don't get it, and do not think it sustainable. Ask anyone. Everyone's a real estate agent. :) |
