You say UW threatened another poster. I read the two posts FL linked and I see all sorts of stuff but no threats to harm another poster.

I offered a very short post to answer your original question because I didn't wish to drill down on this issue. uw is not around to defend himself so I consider it a cheap shot on my part to get into details. I was merely trying to state, as briefly as I could, why I agreed with FL's decision.

If you don't see the threat, then I'm not certain what is to be said, publicly. We could go offline and discuss it if you wish.

I've thought, also, about c2's comment that I seem never to object to the actions of posters who are not right wingers. My memory is, of course, different. I've publicly criticized some over the top posts of folks who are not righties; I've not complained when posters who are not righties have been banned for a period; and I've intervened, via PMs, on behalf of three righties who were banned.

So there we go on the banning front.
