Brad, just spent a few minutes at the PMC web site I mentioned earlier. This comes from there; it seems getting this "price" may be a bit more complicated than I originally thought: 1968: The Rh“ne-Poulenc Group acquires a 51% share of Institut M‚rieux capital. 1978: Connaught extends its scope with the acquisition of a U.S. affiliate in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania. 1985: The Institut M‚rieux forms an alliance with Institut Pasteur Production. 1989: The creation of Pasteur M‚rieux S‚rums & Vaccins, which, through its acquisition of Connaught Laboratories in the same year, becomes the world leader in vaccines. 1993: Guy Malher becomes Chairman of Pasteur M‚rieux S‚rums & Vaccins. 1994: Pasteur M‚rieux Connaught becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Rh“ne-Poulenc Group.
