I can imagine if we let some go belly up, the others might be a little less bold.

That sure would give strong warnings, but if one belly up, it might be too late, there might NOT be any others left to give warnings....
If one sink, it will more likely pull others down, too.

We are not talking about couple of billion dollars here,
but more like 40,000 billion dollars, and that's just for one company.

Remember, when a big ship sink, it sucks down everything with it...
