You make some good points about QSI. The problem with QSI is that it became too scattered for any of the investments to be managed. They became dependent on the commitment of their partners and none of them had the guts to stick it out. Vesper's "bailout" was more of a gambler's move, nothing more than throwing good money after bad. Perhaps, they were duped?

I'm glad to see QSI folded up and the end of cdma market development activities. Qualcomm (and shareholders) would be better off if the company stuck to it's knitting and focused on internal R&D.

Brew, chips and digital cinema(?) better reflect the companies strengths. Hopefully, they've got over their desire to JV with the world and we'll move forward from this date.
