Actually I was just thinking about that yesterday when one on the green traffic lights was burned out on the way to taking my daughters to school. Here in the back-water of Florida they still use incandescents for traffic lights but in the CA bay area most of the traffic lights are LEDs. Not sure if they use GaN for the green lights.... I keep waiting for cheaper LED home lighting stuff to play with but I'm sure it's coming at some point... JF
