I suspect you are talking about George F. Schmitt out of AirTouch and PrimeCo in Walnut Creek, by way of Mannesmann Mobilfunk. George resigned as PrimeCo head almost immediately after the CDMA decision was reached, and almost immediately became CEO of Omnipoint in Wayne, NJ. - Eric -
