I sure don't know. The fact that JFK was killed a year before the election could also support the notion that he was killed by a crazy person seeking attention with no particular political agenda.

I know the stories about all the health problems. According to some, it was because the Kennedy family wanted to hide the Addison's disease that they demanded that the post-mortem records be sealed.

It is acknowledged that the U.S. government was cognizant, if not outright supportive of Nhu's assassination. However, I think it's a stretch to implicate the Vietnamese. I haven't even heard of them mentioned as a possibility.
