Dunsmuir Ventures Ltd. announces the appointment of Manager, Corporate Communications

VANCOUVER, May 9 /CNW/ - Dunsmuir Ventures Ltd. (DVV - TSX Venture
Exchange), is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Taylor as Manager,
Corporate Communications.
Ms. Taylor brings extensive corporate communication experience to
Dunsmuir. For eight years she was Investor Relations Manager with Winspear
Diamonds Inc., a successful exploration company that discovered the economic
diamond deposit at Snap Lake in the Northwest Territories. Following the
purchase of Winspear by De Beers in 2001 for $350 million, she continued her
communications role with their exploration arm, Diamondex Resources Ltd.
Ms. Taylor's communications experience has been exclusively related to
diamond exploration companies and she brings a comprehensive understanding of
the sector, as well as the financial and investment communities, to the
Company. She is a valuable addition to a management team already recognized as
comprising two of Canada's leading diamond authorities.
Ms. Taylor will report directly to Mr. Ettlinger and will be responsible
for implementing the Company's strategic communications program. The Company
has agreed to grant Ms. Taylor stock options to purchase 50,000 shares of the
Company exercisable at $0.33 for a period of five years, subject to regulatory
approval. |
