Oh, they sure are... paying attention. There will be more futile attempts to save the buck. I'm pretty happy holding physical gold - it stays put, and does not decrease in value, although fluctuations of the gold market are enormous - I guess, gold bugs are a nervous bunch of people. USD fell 6.4%, gold rose 6.4% in April. For now, Euro is better, but I guess people will have to rethink that one in time too.
