finally an article from press based in reality on US$
finally we see some of the right questions to ask
in time these guys will wonder...
WHAT WILL STOP THE USDOLLAR DECLINE ???
the answer: nothing except a crisis and gold-backed US$
nobody seems to be asking this question, but they will
right now they simply assume the US$ will level off
they have not investigated or thought through it
we have no industrial mechanisms, no monetary mechanisms
ergo, no seawalls to stop the storm

momentum is building on the dollar decline
Lachman of AEI seems justifiably worried
no mention of Saudi or Islamic financial counter-measures

Vargo of AEMfrs should be pleased, representing mfrs
but those listening to the mfg line argument should wonder my main question repeated over and over
WHAT THE HELL DOES USA MFG BUILD ANYMORE ???
the central answer is printed paper securities documenting debt !!!

the most dangerous currency rise is the JapYen's
it signals Asian imported price inflation on both finished products and components

later comes the "coup de grace" rise in Chinese Yuan
we are not ready for that, eventually it will be begged for
this will be the most unusual development
our trade gap hemorrhage will get so severe, that we will scream and demand that China raise their yuan currency value by allowing it to trade freely on FOREX markets
but their compliance will unleash price inflation in USA !!!
I MEAN FLOODGATES, probably in 18-24 months
China will actually be scapegoated for "causing our trade gap problem"

these guys are still making a common economist error
they turn to data from past decades and claim risk is not there, since it was not then
but past decades had 1/2 to 1/3 the debt levels
but past decades had 30% less consumption by households
but past decades had much more mfg base
but past decades had much much much less derivative gearing
that makes for a shallower pool of water to dive into
(to use their metaphor)

p.s. is it just me?
or is Greenspasm sounding like he has increased his stupid pills?
