like (1) vulnerability to foreign investment flight
like (2) imported price inflation
like (3) weakening of foreign economies
like (4) troubles with foreign banks

these are big big risks
denial of #1 is based on hope
denial of #2,3,4 is simple plain ignorance of economics, which is easy to do when it is laced with politics
