Much of the Arab world may hate the Jews , but secretly in their hearts they cannot so easily dismiss their accomplishments and only envy them. (Islam desperately needs a few "Spinozas" to get out of the Middle Ages (and some orthodox Jews as well). ...so far the Spinoza's don't live long... or exist openly at all.) The Jewish triumph as a people & a tribe , is just one of the triumphs of the entire human race so far ...Israel is key to the ME survival by setting a standard of excellence ...but time is come for a little syncretism and moderation among all these ancient myths & "faiths" I would say. A little moderation from these "beliefs" would help on all sides , but Buddha said that already. And Eienstein seemed to be most comfortable with that approach as well. * AS for "Gods" , I would prefer Elephants over these "Omnipotent Ones" , they are more benign , open to change and have better memories. ;)
