Could you please enlighten us as to what weapons may be used by a populace that does not have helos, Fxx, tanks, missiles, nukes etc ? IMO the only weapon they have is their body laced with crude explosives
Gandhi didn't have rockets either; he managed much better. The Palestinians had the weapons of the PR campaign, politics - they certainly had UN and Euro support - and diplomatic negotiations - may I remind you that Israel was already at the table offering a deal? They had willing allies on the Israeli left. They had all the tools in place to get a decent deal for themselves. But they blew it.
The Palestinians problem has been the same for the last century - they don't want to compromise, they want the whole loaf. Whenever there is no loaf in sight, they cry for the half loaf. Whenever the half loaf comes into sight, instead of angling to make their half of the loaf as big as possible, they start demanding the whole loaf instead, and they use terrorism to back up the demands, as a weapon of choice.
In short, as a political entity, the Palestinians are morons. If they didn't have the good fortune of having Jews for their enemies they would have been crushed and forgotten long ago. |
