We were talking about disappointment- and you smugly chose to make an issue of that. I love many things about this country, and have gone on at great length about many of the reasons I love the USA, but what I love about this country was really not at issue in our conversation- I like to stay on topic. How interesting that you would assume that by sticking to the subject, I was implying that I'm SO unhappy with this country that I should wish to leave it. How sadly typical that is of the smug Love it or Leave it attitude that all too many of our citizens have. IMO, people who REALLY love their country want to make it better.

I was not baiting you at all- I feel that YOU were attempting to bait me, by jumping on my comment about my disappointment (not written to you) with all the force of your preconceived ideas- although perhaps baiting is too strong a word- perhaps "provoke" is a better one. If you felt tempted to do something that would get you banned, that is your problem with YOUR temper, and not mine. I feel no temptation to do anything that would violate the rules of this forum when posting to you. I was merely expressing my liberal opinions in my posts- the fact that they so enrage you that you think them "baiting" says something about you (imo, of course).
