chinton: thanks, since I wrote that post, I heard a news report that foreign dividends will NOT be part of the dividend tax reduction in the House bill, but that was just a TV quick voiceover report, so I still don't have it in writing. Interesting that CanRoys payment is 'royalties' and maybe that is a loophole for US taxpayers. I doubt CanRoy outfits pay full US corporate taxes. Hell, they probably wish they DID pay US Corporate taxes, rather than socialist Canadian corporate tax rates; US corporations have so many tax dodges they don't pay taxes anyway/ng James
