Yep..much of Ralphs popularity is basically due to the fact that he has been premeir during a time of relative prosperity for alberta. Much of this prosperity is outside his control, as he cannot control world oil prices. Klein and Lougheed both benefited being premiers during boom times in the industy. Poor Getty on the other hand was the SOB who had to see $10 and under oil, had to break the bad news that the mighty heritage trust fund wasn't as mighty as albertabs thought. No wonder he is rarely if ever brought up by anyone in Alberta anymore.
