KT, the press was willing to devote many front pages when the last president lied about having an affair. Surely that is far worse than lying to invade another sovereign nation. In the former case, an intern and first lady and first daughter were embarrassed; in the latter case, thousands of lives were lost, including many children and babies. In the former case, it was considered a blight on the Executive Branch; in the latter case, I can only presume it is considered a very good thing, and that Americans yearn for more of the same.

What scares me more is that American citizens, by and large, condone this level of ethics so long as they are led by the leash to believe it benefits them, as consumers.
