Speaking of analysts, have any of you read Malkiel's "A Random Walk Down Wall Street"? To quickly synopsize, Malkiel studied analysts' earnings projections and found them dismal, even for such companies as electric utilities! He goes on to suggest that they are inept. It's an interesting read.
